Celebrate Chinese New Year by making a Double Flower Book with Artist-in-Residence Debra Disman!
This program is for ages 10 and older, and is made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
OPEN STUDIOS
Resident artists will be opening their studios at this event, including visiting Danish artists Jeannette Ehlers, Nikolaj Recke, and Marie Markman. Local artist residents including Marcus Kuiland-Nazario, Debra Disman, Jeff Beall, Luciana Abait, Arzu Arda Kosar, Post Mango Studio, David McDonald, and Yvette Gellis will also be showing new work in their studios.
Learn to create a magical TUNNEL BOOK and tell your visual story in 3 dimensions!
Artist-in-Residence Debra Disman will lead a workshop that focuses on making Matchbox "Mini" Books featuring women artists. The program is designed for teens but all are welcome!
